Festivals at Home

With many artists playing abroad it can be costly to see them, that’s why we started ETC Gigs. Oftentimes, multiple top artists headline festivals abroad – but have you taken advantage of these festivals at home?

Britpop sensation Pulp have recently got back together with select gigs in the UK, with one of them being at TRNSMT in Glasgow from 7th to 9th July. Tickets start at £88.40 for single day tickets, with 2-day tickets available for £159.60. The full weekend is £200.10, allowing you to enjoy a weekend full of incredible music, with others such as local artist Joesef, Kasabian, The 1975, Aitch, and many more playing.

If you’re further down south, Reading and Leeds is a great option for a festival rich in history and great music, with its 40+ year running. From 25th to 27th August - held between Richfield Avenue in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds – Reading/Leeds festival hosts hundreds of acts with the headliners this year including The Killers, Bicep, Loyle Carner, Billie Eilish, Sam Fender, Central Cee, Rina Sawayama, Foals, and many more. Single day and full weekend tickets are available for both events, with prices from £102 to £287.

Having previously been held at Inveraray Castle, near Loch Fyne, Connect Festival is now located at The Royal Highland Showgrounds, a 30 minute bus from the centre of Edinburgh. Hosting a mixture of artists throughout the weekend, Connect Festival provides an array of genres that will have something for everyone. From renowned artists such as Primal Scream, Arab Strap and Franz Ferdinand, to new sensations such as Fred Again.., Young Fathers, Loyle Carner and boygenius, this festival offers a musical journey to cater to all tastes. Running from 25th to 27th August, with prices starting at £74.25 for single day tickets, to £182.55 for a full weekend pass.
